Product Images & Descriptions
Something Elegant makes every effort to provide an accurate image and description of all products. However, due to factors such as monitor screen resolution and display/colour settings some products may differ slightly when seen in person. All weights and measures are approximate. For this reason we accept that occasionally there may be a need to return the product. For details please read our Returns Policy.
Ordering by Mistake
In the event that an item is ordered by mistake please inform us immediately by phone and email. If the item(s) has not been dispatched then a full refund will be given. However if item(s) has been dispatched then the Returns Policy applies.
Returns Policy
We acknowledge that some purchases may not be as expected due to discrepancies between photographs on a computer monitor and how they look on arrival.
Therefore, products purchased may be returned for a full refund if the following conditions are adhered to:
- The item(s) are returned in the condition they were received, including the boxes. All returns must be securely packaged and sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery. If the package is lost or stolen you are responsible for claiming compensation from the Royal Mail. Please note Recorded Delivery does not offer compensation for jewellery.
- Products are returned within 14 days of delivery.
- Payment has been cleared and previously authorised.
- Where your order was paid by credit/debit card a refund can only be issued to the card used to make the original purchase.
- Items damaged in delivery must be reported by phone or email within three working days.
- Earrings are excluded from the above due to hygiene reasons.

Delivery Policy
How much are the delivery charges?
Delivery is £2.00 for all orders totalling £75 or less. Orders
over £75 are delivered free. Special Delivery can be provided for
an extra £2.00.
How will my jewellery be sent?
Jewellery will be dispatched in bubble lined envelopes to protect
your purchase. All parcels are sent via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery
requiring a signature on delivery. Items will be delivered within 7 working
days*, unless otherwise stated. In certain circumstances, if time is
of the essence, we can arrange Special Delivery that will guarantee next
day delivery from day of postage.
In this instance we can provide you with the Royal Mail Special parcel tracking number when your parcel is dispatched. You can track and trace your parcel online – http://www.royalmail.com.
When will you send my order?
We aim to dispatch items within 48hrs of receiving your order.
If, for any reason, we expect there to be a delay we will inform you
so that you can confirm that you still wish the order to proceed.
When your order has been dispatched we will send you an email informing
you of the approximate delivery day and date.
* Subject to Royal Mail meeting their obligations.
