We acknowledge that some purchases may not be as expected due to discrepancies between photographs on a computer monitor and how they look on arrival.
Therefore, products purchased may be returned for a full refund if the following conditions are adhered to:
- The item(s) are returned in the condition they were received, including the boxes. All returns must be securely packaged and sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery. If the package is lost or stolen you are responsible for claiming compensation from the Royal Mail. Please note Recorded Delivery does not offer compensation for jewellery.
- Please contact us, via email, before sending any returns so we are aware they are to be expected.
- Returns must be sent to the following address and no other; Something Elegant, 500 Avebury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK9 2BE.
- Products are returned within 14 days of delivery. (Items purchased in November and December benefit from our ‘Extended conditional returns policy’. Items purchased in these months can be returned up to the 10th January of the following year. All items will be carefully examined and any sign of wear/misuse and not deemed to be sellable will result in forfeit of the extended returns policy and no refund will be given.)
- Payment has been cleared and previously authorised.
- Where your order was paid by credit/debit card a refund can only be issued to the card used to make the original purchase.
- Items damaged in delivery must be reported by phone or email within three working days.
- You will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with returns under this policy. We will not be responsible for any items not reaching us.
- We use Recorded Delivery, Courier Services and International Signed For as they require a signature on delivery. We consider the delivered date of any purchase to be the date a signature was taken to accept the packet or parcel. We are able to track this date and view a signature via the Royal Mail website, or equivalent, and are happy to provide the tracking number related to any order placed if requested. The 14 Days of the Returns Policy would begin from this date as we have proof of delivery. Please note we use the delivery address provided on the order, please make every effort to ensure it is as accurate as possible.
- Earrings are excluded from the above due to hygiene reasons and may not be returned.
